Redmi S2 size is 160.73 x 77.26 x 8.1mm and the body is made by metal body, curvy back and rounded edges which makes it easy to grip the smartphone.
The antenna bands are hidden at the top and bottom, and the fingerprint sensor is placed on the back of the device.
Redmi S2 comes with a 5.99-inch, 18:9 with 1440×720 resolution.
The dual cameras are placed vertically like the Redmi Note 5 Pro and Mi 6X. The Redmi S2 had 12MP Sony IMX486 + 5MP Samsung S5K5E8 rear cameras, with a primary wide-angle camera and a secondary camera with a telephoto lens.
The 20MP secondary camera has 4 in 2.0μm pixels, and supports face unlock and AI portraint mode with AI smart beauty, perfect for selfie lovers.
Redmi S2 ships with MIUI V9, based on Android Oreo. Redmi S2 was equipped with 3,000mAh battery, suitable for long hours of internet usage or calls.
There are two configurations of the phone: 3GB of RAM paired with 32GB of storage, 4GB of RAM paired with 64GB of storage. A microSD card slot is present as well (not hybrid).
