Motorola (or should we say Lenovo) has officially launched the Motorola One and One Power at IFA in Berlin. The phones have been rumored severely in the past few weeks but has finally arrived, bringing along notch screens, dual rear-facing camera, and substantial batteries.



Both phones differs in specs but are identical in design. The Motorola One has a 5.9-inch HD+ display and is powered by a Snapdragon 625 chipset, while the Motorola One Power comes with a larger and crisper 6.2-inch Full HD+ display powered by a Snapdragon 636 chipset.



Up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage are included. The internal storage can be expanded via MicroSD card on both device. The One sports 13MP+2MP dual rear camera, while the One Power dual rear camera is in 16MP+5MP configuration. The front camera on the phones, however, are the same.



The device runs Android 8.1 Oreo with Android 9.0 Pie update promise tagged along. The usual p2i nano-coating for water repellant are onboard and there is a fingerprint sensor with Moto logo on the back. The Motorola One packed a 3000mAh battery, while the One Power is fuelled by a 5000mAh battery.

ZTE is back and better after much debacle in the past weeks. The firm at the ongoing IFA event in Berlin announced the Axon 9 Pro, its latest addition in the Axon series and its first smartphone to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.



The Axon 9 Pro is made to be a flagship as all specs pointed out. It features a 6.21-inch AMOLED display with a notch at the top and the resolution set at 2248×1080 pixel. The display is HDR10 certified for HDR contents consumption. It has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which unfortunately is non-expandable.



The Axon 9 Pro sports 12MP+20MP dual rear camera— the primary camera having an f/1.75 aperture, while the secondary has a 130-degree wide-angle lens. Gallantly sitting at the front is a 20MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture.



The phone has a glass back with wireless charging supports; is IP68 water resistant; bears a rear-facing fingerprint sensor, and is backed by a 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0.



It has dual stereo speakers and Dolby Audio sound enhancements but lacked the traditional 3.5mm audio jack.

At the ongoing IFA event in Berlin, Lenovo has announced a new Qualcomm-powered Windows laptop, the Yoga C630 WOS. The device is the first to claimed the title of world's first laptop to be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 850 processor that was unveiled at CES earlier this year.



We haven't quite forgotten the Miix 630 "Always Connected PC", Lenovo first laptop with a Snapdragon processor that was introduced in January, which was a detachable hybrid, but the Yoga C630 WOS takes the whole thing to a new level.



First of all, the laptop is not a detachable or a convertible as the keyboard is fixed to the hinge— this is your everyday laptop. Secondly, it runs the trimmed Windows 10 S, but it should be upgradeable to Windows 10 full version. Thirdly, it has the modern connectivity options that fit today's needs; 2x USB Type-C ports, DisplayPort, Bluetooth 5, WiFi 802.11ac, and GPS. And lastly, it can deliver 25 hours of battery life in a single charge.



Furthermore, the Yoga C630 WOS has a SIM card slot that make use of the device integrated Snapdragon X20 LTE-A modem for direct unrestricted fast internet browsing with a download speed of up to 1.2Gbps and an upload speed of up to 150Mbps.



The overall body weight of the laptop is 1.2kg and its thinnest point is just 12.5mm. Despite its light slim design the Yoga C630 WOS is still able to pack two stereo speakers for immersive listening experience. It comes with a 13.3-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen display with supports for Lenovo Pen stylus, which users will need to purchase separately.



The graphics is handled by Qualcomm's Adreno 630 GPU. Two models of the device will be heading to the market; the first will have 4GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage, while the second model will have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage. The storage can be expanded via a MicroSD card slot.

Sony Mobile has officially announced Xperia XZ3, the company's latest flagship at IFA in Berlin, as expected today. The phone borrowed most of its specs from the Xperia XZ2 Premium, but it does brings its own unique features along that made it a worthy upgrade over the Xperia XZ2.



The most prominent feature that the Xperia XZ3 brings to the table is the inclusion of an OLED display. For the first time, Sony is letting go the LCD panel on its flagship and embracing the future-proof OLED display technology. The screen harboring the display is now curved on both sides, giving it a distinct appearance unlike the rectangular shape that the previous generations boasted of.



The Xperia XZ3 experience structural changes in design as well—It is curved around the edges and its bezel is quite minimal. The front and the back are covered with Gorilla Glass 5 and the side frame is made of a 3mm aluminium. The OLED display is 6-inch in size, having a QHD+ resolution. It is also HDR10 certified like most flagships released these days.



Other features that the Xperia XZ3 brings along that is worth mentioning is "Dynamic Vibration System", which analyze audio data and provide subtle heptic that goes in tune with the audio, letting users feel and listen at the same time. This provides an immersive experience when gaming. There is also "Side sense" that detect taps and swipes on the edge of the curved side screen which provide access to favorite apps. This uses AI to predict the app that the user might want to launch and offer it on the screen as well.



To cap it all, the Xperia XZ3 runs the new Android 9.0 Pie. It is powered by a Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. BlackBerry few months ago launched the Key2 and later introduced it in India. Today, the company has finally announced a lite variant of the smartphone dubbed Key2 LE. This is powered by a Snapdragon 636 chipset and not Snapdragon 660 as seen on the former. It comes in 4GB RAM model only.



The dual rear camera system is still there, but with a lower specs. The secondary 12MP telephoto camera has been replaced with a depth sensing 5MP camera, while the primary camera features a 13MP f/2.2 lens. Furthermore, the battery has been reduced from 3360mAh to 3000mAh.



The Key2 LE have all the bells-and-whistles that makes the Key2 great including a physical touch-sensitive QWERTY keyboard with a fingerprint scanner placed underneath the spacebar. The display is still 4.5-inch with Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top, and the 1620x1080 resolution is there to keep it accompanied. Android 8.1 Oreo governs the software as usual.



It retains most of the software features as well including app lock and dual app support. Moreover, the dedicated programmable "Speed key" is still onboard. The Key2 LE lacked the aluminium frame that the Key2 boasted of, but instead comes with a platic frame while retaining the soft textured back.

The company's president just posted a render of the still unannounced Mi Mix 3 - a long-anticipated flagship. This time around, the OEM is looking to solve the problem of thin bezels by including a camera slider as well.

The post doesn't say much except that Lin Bin, the president of Xiaomi, will try to bring the smartphone to the market by the end of October with a launch date set within the same month. It seems like this year's smartphones with sliders will pave the way for a more polished slider design next year. At least it's not like the ugly notch trend, right?

The U12 family just get expanded with HTC latest addition called U12 Life, joining the already existing U12+. The phone is not made to be a flagship like the previous release considering its specifications, but it does fair well in pricing.



Speaking of specifications, the U12 Life features a 6-inch 18:9 display with a Full HD+ resolution and is powered by a Snapdragon 636 chipset. The RAM is fixed at 4GB and so is the 64GB storage, which thankfully, can be expanded via a MicroSD card.



The phone has dual camera setup at the back in 16MP+5MP configuration, while it sports a 13MP front camera with a LED flash. It runs Android 8.1 Oreo with Sense UI top; feature a fingerprint sensor at the rear, and is backed by a 3,600mAh battery.



The U12 Life has a unique glass back with subtle strip pattern that can withstand scratches. It has a 3.5mm audio jack unlike its predecessor.

During its press conference at the IFA 2018, Samsung Electronics is to announce its foray into 8K with the unveil of the Q900R QLED 8K complete with 8K AI Upscaling. Available in four ultra-large screen sizes (65”, 75”, 82” and 85”), Samsung QLED 8K TV will feature several 8K-ready enhancements, including Real 8K Resolution, Q HDR 8K and Quantum Processor 8K, all created to bring 8K-quality images to life. The new Samsung QLED 8K will be available in stores from end of September.



Samsung’s QLED 8K with 8K AI Upscaling is a part of the company’s long-term vision of leading 8K to the forefront as the most accurate and life-like screen resolution on the market.

To achieve 8K-quality images, the Samsung Q900R features Real 8K Resolution capable of 4,000 nit peak brightness– a standard met by most film studios. This feature allows TV to produce four times more pixels than a 4K UHD TV and 16 times more pixels than a full HD TV. Q HDR 8K powered by HDR (High Dynamic Range) 10+ technology which optimizes the TV’s brightness levels and produces pristine colors and images is also incorporated to deliver pictures as intended by creators.



Samsung’s proprietary 8K AI Upscaling technology based on artificial intelligence also comes equipped with picture and sound quality to a level compatible with 8K regardless of the original source quality or format. The PRO TREK WSD series have been one of the major highlight in key event since 2016, beginning with the CES 2016 where the first model dubbed F-10 was born. At CES 2017 we witnessed the launch of its successor the F-20, and now Casio has launched the third generation of the device at IFA in Berlin, the WSD F-30, running Wear OS.



This features a smaller 1.2-inch circular dual layer display when compared with its predecessors, but has a richer 390×390 pixel resolution. The dual layer display is composed of a monochrome LCD and a TFT LCD displays. The PRO TREK WSD series are known for their rugged durable features and the new F-30 doesn't differs, it is military grade MIL-STD 810G certified as it can survived in extreme weather and other day-to-day bumps.



Moreover, it is dust resistant and can survived in up to 50 meters deep in water. One of the primary feature of the F-30 is its tracker. It has an inbuilt GPS for tracking wearers location in real-time, which can be viewed on a pre-loaded offline color map. There is an Extend Mode that lowers battery consumption by displaying time and measurement data on the monochrome display.



In Extend Mode, the operating system is switched to an energy-saving mode up to a time defined by the user, and the user can view his/her current location  on the color map with a tap on a button. Casio claimed up to three days of GPS tracking in Extend Mode.



Sensors included are accelerometer, gyrometer, magnetic compass, and pressure (air, altitude) sensor. The smartwatch can be paired with smartphones running Android 4.4+ or iOS 9.3+ via Bluetooth (4.1 LE) or WiFi.



The WSD F-30 will be available from January 2019 at select markets for $549 USD. It comes in Blue, Black and Orange colors.

Team China has beaten the powerhouse Team South Korea 3-1 to win gold in League of Legends finals, one of the six eSports demonstration events on show at the 18th Asian Games Jakarta Palembang 2018, held at BritAma Arena on August 29, 2018. China's strategy of funneling resources into the bot lane strengthens Uzi which lead them to dominate the sets. Despite South Korea's desperate attempt to create an opening for a comeback, they fell in set 4, acquiring the silver.

Team China was represented by Letme (RNG), Mlxg (RNG), xiye (WE), Uzi (RNG), Meiko (EDG) and Ming (RNG). For the Team South Korea, Kiin (AFS), Peanut (KDX), Score (KTR), Faker (SKT T1), Ruler (Gen.G), CoreJJ (Gen.G).

China dominates the 1st set of Finals. By consistently applying pressure on Faker's Ryze, China heat up the series with the first kill. Although Kiin was able to secure both a kill and the first turret for South Korea in the top lane, Letme made the judgment to leave his lane to help his team in the team clashes. In late game team clashes, China's bot duo was able to execute their crowd control in every important moment, allowing Uzi's Varus to free hit with his reliable DPS (damage per second).

South Korea rules the 2nd set. By killing off China's mid laner, xiye, multiple times, South Korea had a strong early lead. Although China had the advantage in the bot lane, the result of the game was determined by a single teamclash. With Score's Kindred as the focus, South Korea played around China's aggressiveness. After securing both the dragon and Baron, South Korea pushed the top lane to destroy China's Nexus.

China once again showed their strength against South Korea as they controlled the 3rd set. From the start, team China constantly targets South Korea ADR - Ruler's Varus. With the aid of Mlxg and Letme, Uzi secured multiple kills. With Uzi's Xayah fed and strong, China took game 3, leading the series 2-1.

Team China finally takes down South Korea in the 4th set. South Korea battle it out with Faker's Orianna as the core of the team. However, in every Baron timing, Korea had their members caught out and China steals the Baron kill receiving the buff. With their Baron buff, China split pushed in all three lanes and aggressively looked for fights. After destroying South Korea's inhibitors one by one, China won the final teamclash of the tournament to take the gold of the 2018 Asian Games League of Legends esports back home.

The gold medal was the third eSports medal bagged by China, following gold in the Arena of Valor on August 26 and silver in Clash Royale final - August 27. While none of the eSports wins will be counted in the overall medal tally at this 2018 Asian Games, it is scheduled to become an official medal event at the 2022 Asian Games.

The 88-inch 8K LG OLED TV features over 33 million self-emitting pixels to produce the unmatched contrast ratio and true blacks that define OLED TV’s iconic picture quality.



With OLED TV shipments in the market expected to double in 2018 and reach over nine million units by 2022, LG will continue to increase the OLED share in its premium TV portfolio and drive large scale consumer adoption of OLED TVs. While the 8K TV market is still in its infancy, it is expected to grow to more than 5 million units by 2022 and LG is committed to leading the ultra-premium market with its 8K OLED TV technology.

A packed Skydome crowd came to witness the Playpark All-Stars 2018 Finals

THE EARLY BIRDS

How did the Playpark All-Stars 2018 Finals begin? It started with the hype and excitement built up in the hearts of every gaming fan of Playpark. Gamers flocked and waited for the opening of Skydome SM North EDSA's gates. The earliest of these fans came at 6:00 PM of August 18; the day before the event. They waited throughout the long hours of the night and camped outside the Skydome for hours. All of their sacrifices were rewarded with the prizes reserved just for the Early Birds from every Playpark game. Permanent items, unreleased loots, and limited edition merchandise; the first of which was the FREE Playpark Flyff Online Tshirt for the first 500 attendees.

GATES OPENED

As soon as the gates opened, the crowd started pouring in to fill up Skydome and gamers worldwide populated the live coverage on Facebook and on Youtube. To bring the All-Stars 2018 experience closer to all the gamers at home, GM Leah Chan hosted the stream which showcased not only the activities of the day but also had games, promos and giveaways for all the viewers. In the sidelines, the community booths opened parlor games and fun challenges for Playpark gamers to take part of to get their share of giveaways and prizes. To kickoff the festivities, Pinay pride, Daisy Siete performed the opening dance number with the set they used to win the KPOP Cover Dance Festival 2018 last June 2018 in Seoul, South Korea.

On top of thrilling Playpark tournament finals, Playpark upped the ante by revealing big news for 2018. The first reveal of the day came with the announcement of Playpark's first new game – TANKI Online. Opening new doors for Playpark, TANKI Online is the first browser based game to be released this 2018 where gamers can experience an MMO-shooter world in full 3D from anywhere. Without all the fuss of a game client, TANKI Online will be free to play. The second news came from Playpark Flyff Online. The beloved MMORPG, Fly For Fun, after months of anticipation, will open for Closed Beta Test this September 2018. The exact date of the take off will be announced on the website (flyff.playpark.com). The last but definitely not the least reveal of the day was from EXTOPIA. Playpark's newest upcoming game, Extopia is a 100-player battle royal game with an improved game play, collecting and crafting and lots of customization. The best news of all, Extopia will open for Alpha Test this August 28, 2018 in the Philippines. Excited gamers can take part in the alpha by securing an access key on the page (@playextopia).

CABAL ONLINE 5V5 CARNAGE

First in the line of tournaments of the day was the final match for the Cabal Online 5v5 Carnage championship between Wagkamainis and YesPogi. These two have been at each other's throats for the past two years with neither getting a clear advantage. But this all ended with the final showdown at the Playpark All-Stars 2018 Finals. With the veteran voices of Vill, Baemax, and Badz on the casting team, the best-of-5 set was one-sided at the get-go. Team YesPogi initially gained momentum with a fast win over Wagkamainis in the first match; and they never looked back since. Dominating the battlefield with quick kills in the first minute, YesPogi double teamed remaining members and picking them off one-by-one afterwards. With a final score of 3-0, Dan, Dylan, Jason, Emman and Saki ended their two-year dry spell and walked away the newest 5V5 Carnage champions and Cabal Online's Team Philippines.

In an interview, Dan, the team captain, could only be so thankful to all of their family and friends who constantly supported them throughout their two-month extensive training. They hope their victory will inspire Cabalists all-over the Philippines and the region to follow in their footsteps and just give the competitive scene a try.

RF ONLINE ELITE SQUAD CHAMPIONSHIP

Following the explosive first match was the RF Online Elite Squad Championships. The contenders were from opposite ends of the spectrum with Exilium hailing from Holy Alliance of Cora and the Chip Assault Squad tournament; while HaawHoow represented the Accretian Empire from the City Under Siege tournament. Fans were not disappointed with the clashes between the two. Exilium scrambled to prove their dominance with an area-control strategy that proved ineffective initially but later came to bear fruits. HaawHoow suffered early losses but nsified their aggression throughout the assault of Exilium. Despite the efforts of HaawHoow, Exilium picked up every opportunity to inched their way to a 3-0 victory.

Speaking with RF caster, Sh1nBoo, Exilium team captain, Cadence credits their victory to their teamwork and strict adherence to disciplined tactics, and singled out Valkyrie's exceptional shot-calling and direction as critical for their victory.

AUDITION NEXT LEVEL SOUTHEAST ASIA CHAMPIONSHIP

The first ever Audition Southeast Asia Championship hosted by the Philippines surprised fans as the teams gave the crowd breath-taking matches. At stake in the competition were the individual and the team categories.

In the individual category, the contenders were Wangg from Singapore-Malaysia, MyMind from Thailand, and Kyoo and Xhao from Philippines. This category was mainly dominated by Singapore-Malaysia and Thailand, with the Filipino players fought persistently but to no avail. Wangg gave MyMind a run for his money in bursts throughout the songs but MyMindstayed strong in his lead and ended up winning the individual category.

However, the closing the night for Audition Next Level was the Team category. The four teams who competed were Banana Brothers from Thailand, 3Musketeers from Singapore-Malaysia, and Army and SabadoBoyz from Philippines. In the final four, 3Musketeers went up against SabadoBoyz, while Banana Brothers faced Army. Every match was as exciting as the next. The leads kept changing hands throughout all the songs. No team could relax as every missed step led to a huge difference in team points. Despite the tough competition from both teams, Banana Brothers and SabadoBoyz were knocked out early on. Banana Brothers put up a tough match against Army and almost defeating them but narrowly missed the victory in the last few second ending the set with a 2-1 score in favor of Army. What followed were close matches between 3Musketeers and Army. Points were seemingly on a seesaw as both teams as the lead kept changing hands. Every time Army took the lead, the Skydome was filled with loud-cheers from the Pinoy crowd. The support seemed effective as Army took a solid lead in the last song with Joms dominating the scoreboard and the trio became the first Southeast Asia champions.

In his interview, team captain Japs was overwhelmed by the support they received from their united FAMs and all of the Filipinos tuning in. Their match against Banana Brothers was a close call where they almost lost their resolve. With their heartbeats racing, they could not even breathe a sigh of relief as they went up against another tough competition in 3Musketeers. In the end, they are immensely grateful for the opportunity and the support.

SPECIAL FORCE 2 ULTIMATUM 2018

The excitement didn't cease after that. The Special Force 2 Ultimatum 2018 became the last tournament of the day. It was a battle between the North and the South. G-7 Epsilon, a team with young players with brave hearts hailed from Cagayan de Oro. On the other hand, the defending champion, Essence, who already represented the Philippines in the 2017 Special Force World Championships, are from Manila. Just like all the matches in the All-Stars 2018 Finals, the battles of Special Force 2 Ultimatum were too close and had everyone at Skydome on the edge of their seats. G-7 Epsilon made quick work of the first round by securing the first victory. However, Essence powered through the rest of the rounds with win after win and showing off their championship level experience. Essence won the first set with a clear advantage but the second was a hard fought victory with as G-7 Epsilon took them all the way to match point battles. Wes, Maze, Shy, Rjhay, and Tony cemented their status as the top brass in Special Force 2 by winning back-to-back Ultimatum championships and their second Team Philippines title.

The Special Force Philippine Championship will be scheduled at a later day, the Playpark family is united in cheering for the contenders MNL.KNGPN and 1HIT.

Below are the requirements and procedures to do this.

Requirements:

* Globe or TM sim card with zero (0) load or registered with free FB bundled promo.

* Facebook App for Android/iPhone/Java or any Android/PC internet browser (Chrome, Opera, Firefox, UCWEB and Nokia Asha) via m.facebook.com

* 3G/4G/LTE capable Smartphone/Tablet.

* USB stick modem/Pocket WIFI for PC / Laptop users.

Next, Choose one of the procedures below which is more easier or accessible to you.

New Procedure 2018: View Images on FB Free Data via Facebook App (for Android users only)
1. Download Facebook App in Playstore, launch it and login your account.
2. Click 'Go To Free' (Facebook app must be in FREE MODE)
3. Go to Phone Settings > Applications > Facebook > Tap 'Force Stop' > Tap 'Clear Cache'.
4. Open Facebook App
5. Done! You can now see pictures even if you're in FREE MODE.

NOTE:
When you closed the app, the trick will be void. You need to do the steps again to view the images.

Procedure 1: View Images on FB Free Data via Facebook Lite (for Android users only)
1. Download Facebook Lite in Google Playstore.
2. Next, open the FB Lite app and login your account.
3. Choose one of these four (4) ways whichever will work for you:
a. Tap the "See Photos", then clear the data of the app (Go to your phone Settings > Apps > Lite > Clear Data). Open FB Lite again and you're now able to see photos.
b. Go to Menu > Logout (Don't tap yes/ok popup). Open your Recent Apps (press and hold your home/back button) then swipe FB Lite. Open FB Lite again and images are now enabled in FB Free Data.
c. Tap the question mark (?) on the top of FB Lite then tap "Turn Off" feature. Open your Recent Apps (press and hold your home/back button) then swipe FB Lite. Open FB Lite again and you can now see photos while on free mode.
d. Switch to Free Mode. Go to Menu > Settings > Image Quality > Change 'High' to 'Medium'. That's it, see instant results, you can now see photos on your Free FB.

Procedure 2: View Images on FB Free Data via Opera Mini (for Android users only)

1. Search and download Opera Mini in Google Play Store.
2. Open Opera Mini.
3. Go to mbasic.facebook.com
* You can now view photos. You can also download files and videos on Facebook groups but you can't view videos.
